As a Sales Engineer, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between technical expertise and business acumen. Your primary responsibility is to support the sales team by understanding the technical aspects of the services offered and effectively communicating their value proposition to potential clients. This role requires a blend of technical proficiency, interpersonal skills, and a keen understanding of customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

– Develop a deep understanding of the company’s services, including their features, functionalities, and applications.

– Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive products to effectively position our offerings in the market.

– Collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify potential clients, providing technical support throughout the sales process.

– Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and technical discussions to showcase the benefits and capabilities of the services.

– Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their technical requirements and proposing customized solutions.

– Address client inquiries, concerns, and objections in a knowledgeable and professional manner.

– Assist in the preparation of technical proposals, quotations, and documentation for clients, ensuring alignment with their needs and expectations.

– Work closely with the sales team to create compelling value propositions that differentiate our offerings in the market.

– Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, product development, and customer support, to ensure seamless communication and project execution.

– Provide input to product development teams based on customer feedback and market insights.

– Gather and analyze market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitor information to contribute to the development of effective sales strategies.

Requirements:

– Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.

– Proven experience in a technical sales or sales engineering role, preferably in the Construction industry/sector.

– Strong technical acumen with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

– Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

– Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

– Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
